Taylor 814 Ce Delux 2019

$ 3500.00

I bought this guitar at Sam Ash here in Florida for $3999 plus tax in hopes of spending time and getting better at playing the guitar. However, it seemed that I never found the time to do that and except a few times of fiddling with it, it took refuge in the wife’s clothes closet and now at her insistence I am letting a real guitar player enjoy the beautiful sound of this artwork of an instrument. If a novice like me says this instrument has an amazing sound then imagine what sound a real guitar player can get out of it. I am going to use Taylor’s description of this guitar from their site:

Taylor 814ce DLX (2019)

6-String | Sitka Spruce Top | Indian Rosewood Back and Sides | Tropical Mahogany Neck | West African Crelicam Ebony Fretboard | Expression System® 2 Electronics | Venetian Cutaway | Taylor Deluxe Hardshell Black Case

Overview814ce DLX (2019)This luxurious rosewood/spruce acoustic-electric Grand Auditorium reaches new levels of performance thanks to our patented V-Class bracing. By coaxing a more orderly response from the top, this game-changing bracing design allows the 814ce DLX to produce more powerful notes everywhere on the fretboard, along with stronger projection, longer sustain, and improved intonation, creating a more musical and expressive playing experience for guitarists. The classic pairing of Indian rosewood and Sitka spruce sparkles with new intensity thanks to the new internal bracing architecture, bringing out more of rosewood’s naturally warm overtones and producing clear, bell-like highs. Premium details include a radius-style rosewood armrest and Gotoh 510 tuners that feature a precise 21:1 gear ratio, delivering an ultra-smooth playing experience. And with deluxe features like maple binding, mother-of-pearl Element fretboard and peghead inlays, a smoky ebony fretboard, rosewood top trim, and maple fretboard/peghead purfling lines, it’s easy to see why the 814ce DLX is one of our most appealing rosewood models.
