Santa Cruz Guitar Company OM/PW Rosewood / Spruce 2001 Model

Tobias Music – Chicago Area’s Finest Guitars

Proud of our 20 Year Partnership with the Santa Cruz Guitar Company

Pre-owned custom OM/PW from our friends at Santa Cruz Guitar Company. Tobias Music consignment sale. Longtime customer is downsizing and we’re helping him move some gear. Nice guitar, nice price.

An orchestra model with a classic Rosewood / Spruce wood combo. Typical SCGC premium spruce. Paired with premium East Indian Rosewood back and sided, this one has the tone to match the looks. A well cared for instrument, the owner did his due diligence and kept this one properly humidified. Some minor play wear. There are few small indentations in the top, only visible when catching reflected light. A little finish wear on the neck and some assorted nicks and dings, but nothing major. Neck angle is good and plenty of saddle for future adjustments. Really nice guitar.

Acoustic Guitar Magazine has placed it as one of the most important instruments of the last 20 years. The OM/PW is presented with understated appointments to emphasize master grade materials, tone and workmanship. It is perfect for the aficionado that loves the advantages of a professional boutique instrument without the cost of rare wood and ornamentation. The OM’s versatility and ergonomics lend great appeal for traditional picking styles and impressive rhythm work. Expect the predominant bass and throaty presence of the surviving pre-war antiques.
