Recording King’s dreadnought shape, RD-17.

The RD-17 (Made in China) is from Recording King, an American brand that offers a wide range of acoustic guitars, banjos, resonator types, and more. It features an Ingleman spruce top, rosewood sides and back, full-scalloped forward X bracing, mahogany neck, rose fingerboard, and Grover pegs with butterbean buttons.

This is an entry-level model that recreates the looks of yesteryear, but comes with a hard case and a high spec.

It shows signs of use (scratches, playing marks, picking marks, fogging/bitzing of metal parts and screws, and other exterior damage).

The fret board has been set up (cleaning, string replacement, rod adjustment, and string height adjustment) upon arrival, and the fret board is high enough to play well. The truss rod can be tightened or loosened up to ±60°.
