Morris W-40 Acoustic Guitar – 1979 – MIJ – Natural
With over 40 years of age on it, this vintage Morris W-40 is such a beautiful piece and it is in immaculate condition.
Handmade by some of the best craftsmen Morris had working at the Matsumoto factory during the era.
Preceding the TF series it has the vertical Morris logo which came in, in 1975 and became standard thereafter. Using high-quality woods, this Martin is impressive in sound and design. Construction is based on the blueprint of a Martin D45. Easy to see why there was so much competition as these models stand up so well against Martins and are considerably less expensive.
Professionally set up, the action is low and smooth, giving it superb playability. Such a great acoustic.
