Martin 1972 D 28 Nat [Sn 306855] [12/18]

$ 4809.85

1972 Martin D-28 is now in stock.
The “Martin D-28” is one of the most famous acoustic guitars of all time, and has been loved by musicians from its initial release to the present day.

This model was made in 1972, during the square-rod period. The top of the body is made of spruce, which has a candy-colored burn, and the back and sides are made of rosewood, which has a well-defined grain.
The neck is an easy-to-grip V-neck with a nut width of approximately 42mm, and all parts are original, including Grover pegs and a black teardrop pickguard, so you can enjoy playing this guitar as it was in the 70’s.

As mentioned above, because the instrument is over 50 years old, there are cracks on the top of the body between the sound hole and the bridge, which have been patched from the inside of the body. The cracks are located near the bracing and can be used without any problems. The pickguard has been re-glued, the bridge has been re-glued, the neck has been reset and the fingerboard has been fixed (including the fingerboard crack fix), and the playability has been well maintained. Passive pickups have been installed by the previous owner, and the guitar is ready for live performance on stage.
The D-28 is in good condition, and has been well repaired, including the corrections that have been made over time.
Recommended for those who are looking for a D-28 from the 70’s and want to play that sound without hesitation.
