I have a 1947-1948 Martin 000-28 acoustic. This was given to me by my dad several years ago. He got it out of a divorce between Gregg Allman and his ex-wife Janice Blair. I can’t authenticate because they both passed away, but it’s a cool story. There’s also an Eric Clapton all access pass on the side of the case plus a Tom Petty all access pass in the case. Janices brother played bass for Tom Petty for several years.
The bridge is lifting a little so would need to be reset. The neck is pretty straight considering the age of the guitar, but it would be a reset as well. Cracking in the back, but zero cracking on the top. Section of binding missing that you can see in the photo, but I have the piece in the case. Someone changed the tuning pegs. Frets are in good shape. I got an estimate for around 2 grand to fix everything. I’d love for someone to have this guitar who appreciates these martins and would give it a good home. I am a drummer so I don’t have much use for it. Asking 13,000 or obo. Feel free to ask any questions!
