SOLID TOP SERIES – F2SE Grand Auditorium Natural (Solid Top Series)

The F2S is a Grand Auditorium body shape guitar that features an HTT (High Temperature Torrefied) solid AA Sitka Spruce top, Ovangkol back & sides, and an amazing level of “electric-like” playability.

Each top is custom tapered and then patiently “hand tap tuned” (*) for perfect frequency response and tonal balance.

In addition to the impeccable high-precision build for which Kepma is renowned, let’s salute the presence of the cutaway which facilitates access to the higher registers, allowing all kinds of upper fret acrobatics and unique chord voicings.

Another highlighting feature is the use of the PLEK PRO state-of-the art technology. Latest innovation in guitar manufacturing, PLEK is an entire process that helps achieve the optimum playability of each instrument: with the help of a computerized machine which scans the whole fretboard (all the work performed on an instrument is done under simulated string tension to reproduce exact playing conditions), it files and cuts the frets accordingly, resulting in precise intonation and buzz free playing right out of the box!

But wait, there’s more!

Paired with the DOUBLE S1-PRO pickup, preamp and FX system, the acoustic-electric F2SE model is pure magic: when playing acoustically (meaning not plugged into an amplifier or mixer), you get stunning Reverb, Chorus or Delay right from the guitar, no effects pedals necessary! When you plug into an amp or mixer, the S1-PRO provides you with an undersaddle piezo pickup PLUS an onboard condenser microphone with a blend control. You still have the effects available as well, so you can take total control of your sound right from the guitar preamp control center.

Comes standard with a Kepma “Exclusive Custom” padded bag.

(*) Hand “Tap” Tuning

Each top is hand “tap” tuned to measure the overall balance and frequency response of the top. If the frequency profile is not precisely “matched” to the desired profile, then the top is put back into the tapering CNC for additional refinement until the response perfectly matches the desired response profile of the instrument.
