Guild F-2512CE 2022 – Dark Blue Burst

$ 700.00

This Guild 12 String Acoustic-Electric Guitar looks and sounds beautiful! It was purchased new in January of ’23 and really has not been played very much since then, as I have spent most of my time playing my electric guitars, so it’s time to clear out some space (for more electric guitars!).

See below for the technical specifications…what I can tell you is that this guitar plays beautifully up and down the neck, and that neck is one of the nicest, silkiest that you’re likely to find on guitars costing quite a bit more than this one. When I do want to play acoustically, this is usually the one I’ll grab for that reason. It’s solid, but not super heavy. The Fishman Sonitone GT-1 electronics are great if you do want to plug it in, and the controls are tucked into the sound hole and are barely visible but easily accessed. I don’t plug it in to an amp very often, but when it’s plugged into my Orange 20 Watt practice amp it sounds amazing clean or dirty.

This is completely stock. The strings on it are D’Addario XT Phosphor Bronze 10-47’s, and they work just fine. Tuners work well and combine with the strings to hold the tune really well, which of course is great on a 12 String! There is a tiny imperfection that I just noticed on the side in the cutout, and I noticed it because I was cleaning it. Other than that, the subtle Dark Blue Burst color is really striking…it looks better in person than in the pictures and it never fails to draw compliments.

Regular price for these on Musician’s Friend is $699, although they do go on sale periodically, as they are right now. What you don’t get for that is a case, and cases for a jumbo 12 string can be hard to find…this one, however, comes with an original Guild hard case with humidifier! It looks great and is extremely robust; the integrated lock (key included) makes it a great option for traveling with your guitar, even on a plane. The case retails for $250 if you can find one, and it’s worth every penny.
