Fully solid Dreadnought

The Furch Blue DC-SW is a dreadnought guitar whose large design produces a powerful sound. Its wide, deep resonance body produces a high sound volume, which is complemented by the solid Sitka sprucetop and a clear note with complex overtones. The solid walnut back and sides add incisive mids with a fast resonance that accommodates a wide variety of playing techniques. Thanks to the open-pored finish, the guitar not only has an attractive appearance but also a lively, fast-response dynamic that also brings out the sound perfectly.

Playability

The acoustic guitar is equipped with user-friendly features for high playability. Its non-slip mahogany neck with a smooth ebony fingerboard and pleasantly shaped soft ‘V’ neck profile sits comfortably in the hand and allows a comfortable hand position at any point. Meanwhile, the 44.45 mm wide nut offers both flatpickers and fingerpickers the ideal opportunity to let off steam to the full, and the instrument has a cutaway that allows the guitar’s full potential to be exploited. These features also make long performances, studio sessions and jam sessions extremely comfortable.

L. R. Baggs VTC

The L.R.Baggs VTC pickup gives the Furch Blue DC-SW excellent stage capabilities and also makes it an ideal choice for recording in the studio. Accordingly, it perfectly captures the vibrations of the strings and transmits every nuance of the guitar’s original sound, allowing it to be amplified in all its glory. Furthermore, the system allows the volume and tone to be individually adjusted to the ambient conditions and tonal preferences by means of a discrete control in the sound hole.
