There are two small, professionally repaired splits on the back at the treble-side lower bout, and some of the back binding has been reglued as well. The gloss Cherry Sunburst nitro lacquer finish exhibits extensive checking, and there is an area of finish loss at the waist on the bass side of the body. The body exhibits some minor dings and finish scratches, as well as pick wear across the soundhole. There are a few shallow marks in the nitro gloss along the neck profile which are not distracting to the palm while fretting.
A modern Gibson padded softshell case is included; the case smells slightly of smoke.
