This Gibson Les Paul / SG Standard was made in the USA in 1961. This example has no breaks or repairs and is in nice shape overall, although there is normal play wear and finish checking. The parts are all original including a pair of great sounding PAF pickups. The guitar has one issue which is that at some point a former owner installed a different type of tremolo system and as a result there are several filled screw holes on the top of the guitar. Two of these holes are visible between the bridge and original sideways vibrola which has since been re-installed, and there are more filled holes underneath the sideways vibrola. There is no routing and we are not entirely sure what type of trem unit it was. The original cherry finish is in nice shape and only a little bit faded. The guitar weighs just under 8 pounds and plays great and sounds extremely good. It has been pro-setup in our store and comes with the original case in the pictures.
