GRETSCH G6128T-GH George Harrison Signature Duo Jet Black [SN JT12083219] (12/23)

$ 2417.06

Reproduction of the famous instrument that George Harrison called “the first decent guitar”.
It features the original Gretsch Duo Jet (1957), which Harrison purchased secondhand in the early 1960s, with the distinctive decorations and specifications found on the original.
The guitar features a mid-50s lightweight chambered body, a tailpiece with a BigsbyR B3C tremolo arm (with black Phillips Phillips Phillips screws on the vibrato handle bolts), and offset-mounted strap buttons.
Other specifications include 3-ply binding (white/black/white) around the perimeter of the body and 1-ply white binding around the neck and headstock. Included is a 12″ (304.8mm) radius, 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with pearloid hump top inlays, and two Dyna Sonic single-coil PUs. It features a vintage-style locking bar bridge with rosewood pedestal, silver plexi pickguard, chrome-plated GroverR V98CM Sta-Tite tuners, Gretsch G-Arrow control knobs, and chrome-plated hardware. Harrison’s signature is engraved on the truss rod cover.

There are scattered minor scuffs and dings throughout, and the metal parts are tarnished.
Although the instrument is slightly used, it has been maintained and cleaned at our repair center and is in good playability.
