Up for sale is my Gretsch G5622T-140 —140th Anniversary Electromatic electric guitar with a Bigsby!
This Electromatic features:
• Laminated maple body with two-tone (Stone platinum/Pearl platinum) finish — flawless;
• Center block, double cutaway maple body;
• Anchored Adjusto-matic bridge;
• Bigsby B70 vibrato tailpiece;
• Set-in thin U-shape maple neck;
• 22-fret laurel fingerboard with inlays;
• Dual “Black Top” Broad’Tron humbuckers;
• All chrome hardware and GraphTech Nu-bone nut
• Matching headstock with chrome tuners (still have the little plastic on them)
• Electronics go: master volume w/treble bleed, master tone, individual pickup volume controls, three-position pickup toggle switch;
• Included is the fitted Gretsch hardshell case;
This is a gorgeous guitar with a classic Gretsch sound — it can go from retro-bitey to soulful-bluesy. Gets real loud but great for fingerstyle, too. Check out the YouTube video below to hear how it sounds when a guy who can actually play demos it. I will throw in the thick etched leather strap you see in the pics. These guitars go for $900 online so my price is firm. I’m not in a rush to sell, I just need to purge the studio a bit for a clean start in 2025.
