This is an absolutely killer Peavey Predator AX that’s in great playing shape and is ready to rock!
The neck on this is super shreddy, low and fast action, the fretboard feels fast. Everything about it let’s the dexterity flow. The electronics more or less work how they’re supposed to with the exception of the mini 3 way toggle switch which I think may be a split of some kind or possibly a phase switch? Either way it sounds great in one position which appears to be the full humbucker, but the other two positions, middle and north, seem to just dip the volume a bit. I thought maybe it’s south coil/north coil but it seems to be something a little different. Either way everything else on this works perfectly. Also, I have silenced the tremolo springs with a small piece of foam so they don’t ring as much during play, it can be removed with minimal effort.
Cosmetically it’s in pretty nice shape though there are some minor dings as well as the standard surface scratches that are so common on gloss black instruments. Under a glare it’s not pretty but indirect lighting it looks lovely.
