This SG was one of three that were made through the Gibson Custom Shop Made to Measure program, and was made an an “inspired by“ Angus Young’s first SG. Using the custom shop ’64 standard as the base, Gibson modified them with the batwing pickguard, walnut finish, grover tuners,witch hat knobs, and vibrola. All hardware is VOS/aged.
I swapped the original alnico III humbuckers for the Seymour Duncan custom shop High Voltage set in aged nickel finish. The stock ABR bridge was also upgraded to a Faber ABR in aged nickel finish. No dings, dents, bruises, just your normal play wear. The guitar plays and sounds fantastic. As you can see, I removed the vibrola arm, but it is included if you want to put it back on.
I unfortunately do not have the original pickups or stock bridge (it rattled like crazy). All Gibson case candy is included, with the custom shop certificate. The original black lifton case is also included and in mint condition. Feel free to ask any questions or see more photos. Free shipping.
