Fender Custom Shop / 1958 Telecaster Journeyman Relic Aged HLE Gold is in stock now!
The body has a moderate amount of Journeyman Relic specification brick, which changes its appearance depending on the angle you look at it, and the way it shines and glistens is just superb.
2-Piece Ash body with 10/56 “V” shaped QTR-Sawn Maple neck. Fingerboard R is 9.5″ and Narrow Tall Frets are used.
Both the neck and bridge are equipped with “Hand-Wound 58 Tele” pickups, wired in a vintage style to produce the twangy tone everyone imagines. It also has Fat ’50s Tele wiring for those who want a more modern tone.
And by mounting the Top-Load bridge, the strings can be strung from the back of the body or from the front of the body, allowing the user to choose different tensions to suit his or her preference.
This guitar was made in 2022, and although it is a Relic, it does not show any signs of use. Of course, it is in good playing condition, including the truss rod.
Please consider this as a good opportunity.
* The case is marked “TWEED” on the spec sheet, but it has been a brown case since it was shipped from Fender at that time. Please note that the case is different from the one on the spec sheet.
