Up for grabs is this amazing 1982 Gibson The Explorer CMT with TP-6 tailpiece & Bound Curly Maple Top in a beautiful, flamed Cherry Sunburst. This bad boy is loaded with the L E G E N D A R Y 1980s Gibson Dirty Fingers humbuckers, and the frets have plenty of life left. The trussrod also has been barely used. CMT stands for Curly Maple Top, and while it comes at the cost of weight, it’s a gorgeous looking, feeling, and sounding vintage guitar. There are a few dings and scratches, but the only big blemish is a streak of buckle rash on the back. Thankfully, you don’t see it once it’s strapped on. What you see is that L U S C I O U S ebony fingerboard, gold hardware, and S E X Y flamed top. It weighs 10 lbs, 3 oz and ships in an Epiphone hardcase.
