2006 Fender Telecaster ‘52 Vintage Reissue TL52-88TX Butterscotch w/ USA Pickups, Japan CIJ

$ 1299.99

Up for sale, a 2006 Fender Telecaster ‘52 vintage reissue model TL52-88TX in 100% original condition and in perfect working order. This “Crafted in Japan” Telecaster is an upper-tiered offering, faithful to vintage spec with a chunky V-shaped neck profile, brass saddles, five-screw “blackguard” pickguard, flathead screws throughout, and a pair of Fender’s USA-made Texas Special single coils.

The ’50s-centric tonewoods comprise an ash body and a one-piece maple neck, and this Tele weighs 8lbs 5oz. The factory-installed pair of USA-made Texas Special single coil pickups are slightly overwound for a bit more kick than a traditional pair of single coils, delivering plenty of snap and snarl, with quintessential Tele twang at the bridge and girthier, bell-like tones at the neck. This Telecaster TL52-88TX has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and spot-on intonation.

The gloss Butterscotch finish highlights the particularly dynamic grain in the ash body, and honest playwear includes some scuffing along the pick path, a few finish chips along the lower bout perimeter, light buckle rash on the back, and some minor dings. The neck profile retains its smooth gloss, with a few tiny nicks along the profile length that have no impact on playability.

A gigbag is included.
