This fine playing guitar has a few dings here and there but looks very nice and plays well. The neck with rosewood fingerboard is fast and comfortable. Some normal fret wear is present, but there is plenty of life left in them. Please see photos.
Here is a list of upgrades made to improve the sound and playability of the guitar:
-Stock pickups replaced with Dimarzio pickups – Area ’61 (bridge position), Area ’67 (middle position), Area ’58 (neck position). These reproduce single coil sounds while being noiseless.
– Copper shielding added to electronics cavity in body. This, along with the Area pickups, renders the guitar virtually hum and electrical buzz-free.
– Replacement of stock bridge with Super-Vee Bladerunner Tremolo System (vibrato).
– Stock volume potentiometer enhanced with S-1 switch. A push of this button allows the bridge pickup to be activated in all pickup switch positions so you can have bridge/neck and bridge/middle/neck combinations as well as the usual ones.
– Addition of Fender locking tuners.
– New white pickguard.
I will include the original pickguard, bridge and pickups.
Fender gig bag included.
