Up for sale is a Vintage Washburn A-20V BBR Electric Guitar project. Its hard to tell what repairs have been done to it. It has some evidence of refinishing on the back of the body and the neck. There’s also a thin crack down a good portion of the back of the neck that appears to have been glued. I don’t see any movement along it and I flexed the neck well in all directions. Parts of the red binding are missing and filled in with a red painted material. One of the trem posts has a crack in the surrounding wood. The body is made from a solid wood, not ply. The neck has a very slight back bow when unstrung but it pulls straight when strung up and plays surprisingly very well. I used a temporary bridge to string up and was able to set the action very low without any buzz. The truss rod works perfectly though the nut is a 5/16″ hex replacement that I had laying in my parts bin. The frets are in good shape with some minor wear. Most of the electronics are still in tact including two push pull pots. This is a good solid project but will need some work to get it back to playing shape. Thanks for looking and please ask any questions. Most my items ship the next day if purchased before 8pm EST.
