For your consideration: The Greco LS-120, an exceedingly rare guitar first released in 1988 and produced for only three years!
Essentially a copy of the L5S, the solid body version of the L5CES produced from 1972 to the mid 1980s, the LS-120 features a variety of luxury appointments such as a bound 5 piece maple & walnut neck with an ebony fretboard, genuine abalone rectangle inlays and a Greco logo / flower vase inlay on the headstock. The body consists of a bound flame maple top with maple back. Underneath the control cavity cover, which is also made of maple(!) sits the original wiring harness. In fact, everything on this guitar is original including the pickups and gold laminate hardware which retains most of its luster. The fret wire on the straight and comfortable D shaped neck is in good shape with no divots and plenty of life left. At 4.51 kg or 9.94 lbs it’s a heavier than it looks but this no doubt contributes to this instruments seemingly endless sustain, aided by the Greco “Dry” humbucker pickups manufactured by Fujigen.
The guitar is in very presentable condition with only some minor scratches here and there, a couple of tiny dings on the back of the neck and some light corrosion present on the hardware in places. The truss rod can be adjusted, the electronics are noise free and the guitar has been set-up of optimal playability.
Comes with a period correct but non-original bass gig-bag as seen in the photos.
