Jackson JS Series JS30DK Dinky Black 2004 Electric Guitar

$ 284.15

Here for sale we have a Jackson JS30DK electric guitar in Black finish. Built in 2004 this guitar features an Alder body, a satin Maple neck, a Rosewood fingerboard, 22 Jumbo frets, a compound 12”-14” fingerboard radius, a Floyd Rose Jackson Licensed Low Profile JT580 LT double locking 2 point tremolo, along with a pair of Jackson CVR2 humbuckers, wired to master volume/tone controls and a 3-way blade switch.

The slim satin neck plays well offering a fairly thin and flat playing surface, great for more technically demanding playing styles. The compound radius makes for comfortable fretting in all registers, with the 12” radius at the low end making for easy chordal work and the flatter 14” radius further up the neck feeling more comfortable for lead work.

The Jackson CVR2 humbuckers sound thick and powerful, with a solid low end, a punchy and commanding midrange, along with a crisp, aggressive top end. Overall a very nicely put together guitar for the money, perfect for heavier playing styles.

Aesthetic Condition

Headstock- There are light markings visible to the face at various points. To the sides there is some staining, mainly near the treble side of the headstock. There is a noticeable chip to the side of the headstock near the top point of the headstock, this is visible and noticeable. The rear is in good condition.

Neck- The neck overall offers a smooth playing surface. There is some indentation visible to the neck/headstock join and centrally on the neck although this does not detract from the playability of the instrument from my personal experience. It is possible to feel the fret end of the treble side of the first fret more than the other frets which the new owner may wish to address.

Body- The body has light markings visible at various points, the most visible being to the side where your arm would rest. The neck pocket is in good condition. The guitar shows light signs of use but no significant markings in my opinion and as you can see on the listing photos.

Condition of Frets

Further Notes-

The guitar shows some light aesthetic markings but is in very good condition. The most noticeable marking is the chip to the top of the headstock but does not affect the overall structure of the instrument. The electrics are in full working order and the setup is fully adjustable to preference by the new owner. It is not in pristine condition but is fully functional and is a good playing experience. There is no tremolo arm with the guitar. The new owner may wish to acquire one which is a relatively inexpensive part.
