Jackson AT-1 USA 1995 Black vintage players grade rare prototype. Bare knuckle black hawk pickups

$ 2335.00

Very rare jackson USA 1995 AT-1 prototype. Only 50 were made. This is an excellent playing and sounding players grade USA Jackson when Jackson was still independently owned and making their best guitars before fender bought them out.

please only questions from serious buyers.
Unique model with contoured carved top, and a carved tummy cut on back. Jackson named this the AT-1 as in “Archtop one.”
The frets are in excellent shape. Very comfortable medium sized maple neck with rolled edges for ultra fast comfortable playing and ebony Fingerboard that is very smooth and fast. The body is poplar. Jackson made these to be PRS killers. The tone and playability of this guitar is excellent and the bare knuckle black hawk pickups are a perfect match for the dark roaring tone of the poplar. The bridge is locked like a hardtail, but can be put back as a tremolo. I don’t have the whammy bar, original pickups, or original case. But it will come in a hard shell roadrunner case or a gig bag – just let me know which one you prefer and I’ll make it happen. The pickups are direct mounted. There’s some dings, dents, scratches as pictured. Someone also carved a few tiny arrows as pictured- (probably someone’s kid) the arrows are very shallow and you won’t feel them on the neck when playing. I had the guitar professionally set up by a luthier and everything is playing and sounding great with low fast action. The neck pocket is tight and solid with no cracks. This is a true players grade vintage USA Jackson. The AT-1 has the best jackson headstock shape in my opinion and this rare prototype features Sperzel locking tuners set up 4×2 – only about 50 of this particular 4×2 tuner headstock were made. Jackson later changed to 3×3 with non locking  jackson brand tuners for the  AT-1. This is the rarest bird of a rare model. I’ll only ship within USA and will include shipping insurance for the purchased price of the guitar.
