This is a fun, versatile guitar that I’ve really enjoyed owning. The five way switch has well thought combinations that yield a variety of useful tones. Light weight and comfortable to play. There are a couple of small dings on it that I’ve highlighted in the pictures and the hard case has a few dings. I don’t know the year but this model was produced from 2008 through 2011. New D’Addario XL 10s are on the guitar. It will ship with the original strap buttons installed.
FROM THE INTERNET:
The RG3EXFM1 features a flamed maple top with binding on a basswood body bolted to a maple Wizard II neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with binding and sharktooth position markers. Components include dual, covered Ibanez Vintage and a standard bridge.
The on the fretboard are a heritage mark of the RG models, having been used by Ibanez since the inception of the RG in the late ’80s. The RG3EXFM1 was available in two finishes: Blackberry (a reddish color despite the name) and Transparent Gray Burst.
