Up for sale is my 1996-ish Ibanez Jem7 BSB (burnt stained blue). As you can tell, this guitar has had the pickups switched to blue Dimarzios and blue knobs, which really makes a rather dull looking Jem stand out. She remains in excellent condition.
The JEM7 features an American basswood body bolted to a maple neck with a 24-fret rosewood fretboard with screw-head position markers. Components include DiMarzio pickups mounted in a brushed aluminum pickguard, a Lo Pro Edge double locking tremolo bridge and Gotoh tuning machines. This is a great playing and sounding Jem.
The last owner had this guitar signed by Steve Vai, who drew some art on it when he was signing it (see photo).
The guitar was just cleaned and set up, so it’s clean and ready to go. The tone is very impressive. This is a great playing and sounding guitar, as well as a beautiful piece. The action is set to shred
Please review all photos in the auction. What you see is what you get. The original case has a little wear but fits the guitar well.
Shipping will be $90 in the USA. I’ll allow overseas shipping on this one, but trust that CITES and customs, etc. can make overseas shipping slow and expensive. I’ll used Ebay’s global shipping service for any overseas deals so get your quotes on cost through them. I know nothing about international shipping so Ebay’s service is the only one I will use for safety.
If you want any additional photos, please email me. I have plenty.
