Ibanez AG86 TDR Artcore 2006 (Rare)

$ 385.00

Here’s a beautiful, rare-Ibanez AG86 Hollowbody guitar. This is a “small body”   similar in size to the George Benson GB10. Made only one year (2006) This guitar has many upgraded features over the normally inspired AG75 that is on the market today. This is in beautiful condition for being  17 years old. I did level and crown and polish the frets. The neck is perfect and it plays wonderfully. I did replace the old tuners with a brand new set of stock Ibanez Artcore tuners. And I replaced the plastic nut with a GraphTech XL nut; otherwise, the guitar is all original. Also comes with an older hardshell case.  Of course, there are some light scratches and swirl marks, but you have to hold it up to the light to even see them. If you just getting started in Jazz, or you just want to add a great hollow body to your collection without the high cost-this would be the perfect guitar for you.

The AG86 is an Artcore Deluxe series hollow body electric guitar model introduced by  in 2006. It was made in China. It replaced the similar .

The AG86 features a mid-sized, full-hollow body design with a laminated figured Bubinga top with ƒ holes and cream multi-binding on figured Bubinga back and sides with a single Venetian cutaway mated to a set-in mahogany and maple neck with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with cream binding and pearl block position markers. Components include a pair of Ibanez Artcore  with chrome covers and individual volume and tone controls, a Tune-o-Matic style bridge on a wooden base, a VT100DX wood-decorated tailpiece, ivory plastic nut, and pickup rings, a matching figured Bubinga pickguard, speed knobs, and Ibanez tuning machines.
