Vintage Select Edition “G6122T-62 VS Vintage Select Edition ’62 Chet Atkins Country Gentleman”
The 1962-style country gentleman became very famous for being used by George Harrison of The Beatles. The G6122T-62 VS Vintage Select Edition ’62 Chet Atkins (R) Country Gentleman is a model that reproduces the 1962 specifications.
The biggest feature is the string mute that is divided into two strings, 1st to 3rd strings and 4th to 6th strings. By tilting the two mute switches on the back of the body, the string foam between the bridge and the rear pickup touches the strings and is muted.
