For Sale: Gretsch G6120RHH Reverend Horton Heat Signature 6120 Nashville Hollow body with Bigsby. This guitar is a tone monster! I am the original owner and guitar has been well taken care of. Never gigged and stored in my climate controlled home in its case. Professionally set up with 11’s. When I got the guitar the D and G string would pull a bit sharp when using the Bigsby (common with the larger style Gretsch headstocks). I had the nut professionally replaced with the Gretsch Delrin nut that comes on the Setzer model (Delrin is naturally slick so the strings glide through easier). Guitar now holds perfect tune even with heavy Bigsby use (original nut is in included and can easily be switched out). I also had the Callaham Main String Shaft installed so that the Bigsby is now string-thru (as seen in image). This makes for much easier restringing as the string doesn’t slip off the pins (original pin shaft included (see image) but will require purchase of new pins from your local Gretsch dealer (for a few dollars) as the pins cannot be removed and reinstalled). Neck is a very comfortable shallow C/D shape. I used a Tru-Arc SerpenTune brass bridge on this guitar (not included), as Nashville ABR-1 tune-a-matic bridges are known for having some buzz (though this one isn’t bad as it has the retaining wire).
Overall the guitar is in excellent condition but there are a few signs of use as it is a used guitar. There is a small lacquer chip by the nut which appears to have happened when the nut was replaced (highlighted in image), this is in the clear-coat only and does not affect the wood/headstock/nut in anyway; there is a bit of wear to the Bigsby plate (highlighted in image); there is a small scuff in the clear-coat near the Bigsby plate (highlighted in image), that can only be seen in certain light (as revealed in the different images); and there are some faint pick marks on the pick-guard (I could not get these to photograph). This is all superficial, but I want the buyer to be aware. Very clean guitar.
