Fender Japan ST-62 SPL Dragon Stratocaster 2013 Limited 30th Anniversary Edition

$ 1504.45

Originally only available to select Japanese dealers. 1 of 30 made for Fender Japan’s 30th Anniversary.  Some sources say 50 (or more) were produced, but I was told when buying it new that they made 30 Dragons in Cream and 30 Geishas in Gold. The guitar is based on a ’62
Stratocaster, with a basswood body, maple neck and period-authentic
rounded 7.25″ rosewood board. The unique Dragon finish is made from pieces of material bonded onto
the body and poly-finished over. (Dragon wallpaper under the clear coat – same idea as the original Paisley Telecaster). The pickguard is made by layering
the same material between two layers of clear plastic. The jack has been
relocated onto the guitar’s edge to maximize the visual effects of the
finish. The guitar is mint and unplayed and without any flaws at all – no
scuffs, no cracks, no dents, no corrosion of the hardware, nothing.
This guitar has sat in a case since
new. The guitar shipped from Fender Japan with a very cheap gig bag, but I will ship it in a generic hard case. Free shipping in Canada, to be calculated for other countries. Here is what I could find on the actual specs:
