Eastman AR371CE-BD Hollow-Body Archtop with Florentine Cutaway Blonde

$ 839.00

This is a lovely playing and sounding handcrafted guitar with solid classic tones. Great playing neck, smooth fret ends, no fret wear, and a clear, articulate voice with the Kent Armstrong-designed pickup. With all maple laminate sides, back and top, it’s got plenty of cut and feedback resistance. It works in more contexts than jazz, for sure, and sounds great through an amp. I’ve had several Eastmans and really like them, this one included. These handcrafted Eastman guitars are really hard to beat for the price. I’ve taken good care of this guitar. I bought it in 2017 from well-known McCabe’s Guitar Shop in LA.

I was told by McCabe’s that someone at Eastman’s Pomona, CA finishing facility brought b-stock to McCabe’s for sale. The blemish making it b-stock are numerous cracks in the clear finish around the back base of the neck, on the upper bout near the neck, on the upper side, and where the neck meets the body on the upper side. The cracks are most visible in certain raking light, and almost invisible in other light. I took photos at the right light angle to emphasize the cracks and to clearly point them out. Does not affect playability or sound at all. One of the amber knobs has a crack in it.

Includes Grover Quick-release strap locks professionally installed by McCabe’s Guitar Shop.

Comes with the original very nice 4-latch, locking Eastman case with metal feet for standing vertically or on the side. Includes key and allen wrench still wrapped from the factory.

Please let me know if you have any questions about the instrument.
