Vintage Gretsch 6010 and a Prototype Guitar, from the Gretsch Family Archives

$ 1050.00

I need to reduce my collection. So these two historic guitars are offered at far below my final cost! This auction is for BOTH guitars: a Gretsch 6010 acoustic guitar, natural finish, decorative inlays and no case and also a Gretsch TFW905 acoustic prototype guitar, natural finish, Neo Classic inlays and no case. Both guitars are unused, mint condition from the Gretsch Family Archive from the estate of Hal Zwicke. An exclusive auction featuring rare items from the Estate of Harold “Hal” Zwicke, whose lifelong hobby and passion was collecting and researching guitars and musical instruments, including vintage equipment from internationally renowned brands Gretsch, Fender, Gibson, Martin, Roland, and more. The auction took place in Beverly Hills on 3/26/21.

Both were purchased from Julien’s Auction Gallery March 27, 2021. I paid: $450 comission shipping I paid $600 comission shipping

Both guitars have new strings (the original strings were not playable and they were disposed of). The 6010 had to have the bridge replaced to keep strings from “buzzing”, so it has been professionally set-up. That repair cost was $125.00.  Both guitars are priced at just the winning bid price paid (without the repair, commission or shipping costs, that I paid).  …So a flat $1050.00 plus the shipping cost from Santa Rosa, CA to your door!  Naturally, I welcome free local pick-up, if you can.

I am happy to provide any additional detail pictures, that you require. If you are having trouble using the links for original auction, I am happy to send them directly.
