Special model with frame painting
This is a special model in which the cherry wood on the top of the body is painted using a painting method known as “antique frame painting”, in which the petals of the cherry blossom are depicted over the entire surface. This is a traditional technique used for framing Western paintings and has been achieved in collaboration with a specialist craftsman. This is a unique and unprecedented look, perfect for the 10th anniversary of the Sakura Guitar.
The body features a beautiful gradation of colour, reminiscent of cherry blossoms at night. The layered picture frame finish extends to the sides of the body, giving it a three-dimensional appearance.
Uniform cherry blossom design.
The Momose logo is also featured on the pickguard with a cherry blossom in a single point. The finish is made by pouring resin over the engraving, giving it a clear impression. The head logo is also painted in the same colour as the frame, creating a striking design unified by the “cherry blossom colours”.
Cherry blossom inlays adorn the fingerboard
The beautiful purfling on the fingerboard, a feature of Cherry Blossom guitars, has been retained. This is not only for design reasons, but also to make the guitar feel more comfortable when you change from a guitar with normal position markings.
10th Anniversary Logo
A limited edition logo is silk printed on the back of the headstock to mark the 10th anniversary of the Sakura Guitar.
